Sightseeing and cultural sites

I urge you to visit the old quarter of Marrakech by foot and more precisely...

“Jardin Majorelle”: This is my favourite place in Morocco. This is an oasis in the middle of Marrakech's streets. The medina is an exceptional place with exotic plants, palm trees and a traditional architecture with the azure blue mosaic and bright yellow tiles.

“Jemaa el Fna”: This is in the heart of the Medina; it is the ideal place to stop for a lunch or have a tea with this panoramic view. When you walk in the square, you can find the snake charmers storytellers of Jemaa el Fna.

“Bahia Palace”: This is an ideal place to soak up the best of Marrakech's architecture. With arching courtyards, heavy wooden doors, and complex mosaic floors.

"Marrakech souk": the vendors have a variety of goods: typical foods, spice trade, garments, original light, oriental carpet, and souvenirs... This is an essential rite of passage in going to Marrakech!

Place to sleep in Marrakech:

Ryad Fabiola in the heart of the Medina: oriental inspiration, Moroccan cuisine, combining modernity and tastefully decorated. I really enjoyed my stay in this incredible place and I would recommend it to anyone.

OUZOUD FALLS

Escape from the center of Marrakech and go to the beautiful Ouzoud Falls. Admire the falls from various viewpoints and hire a local guide to take you closer if you like. In a country known for its stark desert landscapes, these falls are a dramatic contrast and offer amazing photo opportunities.

ESSAOUIRA

This is a charming and vibrant port and resort town on the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby, couples and families stroll the beaches of Cape Sim and Sidi Kaouki, which also attract surfers of all types. You can come by bus or car!
